Senior Sales Associate
Job Description
The Senior Sales Associate is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience. The role includes performing various operational duties assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager, providing guidance and mentorship to entry-level sales associates, and serving as a model for service and sales achievement. You will educate customers on product features, maintain product inventory knowledge, and ensure visual merchandising standards are met. Operational duties include handling the POS counter, inventory management, and ensuring store security.
Responsibilities
- Greet the customers and assist them in selecting the right product
- Convert the window shoppers to ultimate buyers
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program of the company for repeat sales
- Be a model for other sales associates in terms of sales achievement and service
- Educate customers about product features, advantages, benefits, materials, and care instructions
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the product inventory and promotions
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to entry-level sales associates
- Become a buddy to newly joined team members in the store
- Assist in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Monitor entry-level sales associates, providing constructive feedback
- Ensure all VM guidelines are followed and all stock norms on clearance are maintained
- Handle the POS (Point of Sale) / billing counter efficiently
- Contribute to inventory management and assist in periodic stock counts
- Stay informed about the latest fashion trends, designers, and brands
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in a sales role is preferred
