Senior React Native Engineer / Mobile Apps ( iOS + Android )
Job Description
P I X E L Y is a fintech startup building a digital wallet and payment ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to build high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. Responsibilities include building cross-platform apps using TypeScript, implementing payment flows, ensuring security (SSL pinning, encryption), and maintaining offline resilience. The engineer will also handle push notifications, biometric app locks, and performance optimization for low-end devices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps with React Native + TypeScript
- Implement core user journeys with pixel-perfect fidelity to Figma
- Design robust state management and typed API client layers
- Implement secure authentication flows and offline persistent storage
- Enforce security measures including SSL pinning, PIN/biometric locks, and tamper checks
- Optimize app performance for low-end devices and ensure accessibility
- Instrument analytics and crash monitoring
- Manage build flavors, CI pipelines, and App Store/Google Play submissions
Qualifications
- 4+ years in mobile development, with at least 2+ years in React Native
- Demonstrated experience delivering at least one published app
- Proficient in TypeScript, React Native CLI/Expo, Redux/Zustand
