Linear Programming (LP) Modeling Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Linear Programming (LP) Modeling Engineer to work in the Supply Planning and Optimization Division. The division is responsible for performing optimization analyses, developing long terms business plans, and performing reviews on projects.
Responsibilities
- Run oil & gas and refinery linear programing models for Business Plan operations
- Work with organizations to determine optimum mode of facility operation
- Define data and work processes required to maintain LP Models
- Maintain hydrocarbon LP models by updating process units, yields and properties
- Work with operation and simulation engineers to ensure latest process data
- Perform back-casting and issue monthly report on LP gap
- Mentor new LP engineers and provide training
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in chemical engineering
- 7 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge in Crude, Gas, NGL and Refinery process units
- Basic knowledge about AspenTech-PIMS software
