Senior Maintenance Planning Engineer
Job Description
Senior Maintenance Planning Engineer needed for Damietta Port to develop maintenance and spare parts plans for equipment. The role involves monitoring maintenance activities, tracking costs, and analyzing downtime data to optimize maintenance frequencies.
Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance and spare parts plans for equipment
- Prepare monthly preventive & proactive maintenance plans
- Monitor the implementation of maintenance activities
- Oversee spare parts movement & collaborate with Procurement
- Develop maintenance performance reports
- Track maintenance costs & allocate them to cost centers
- Analyze downtime/failure data to optimize frequencies
- Update Oracle asset records
- Develop metrics for performance, reliability, and cost control
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in heavy industries maintenance planning
