Job Description

We are a leading distributor in the HVAC industry, committed to providing exceptional service and reliable solutions to our commercial customers. As a Commercial HVAC Estimator / Inside Salesperson, you will play a key role in supporting contractors, engineers, and customers by preparing accurate project bids, providing technical guidance, and ensuring orders are processed smoothly. You will collaborate with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to provide cost-effective solutions and stay current on HVAC products and industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate project bids and detailed quotations based on plans and specifications.
  • Track bids through the entire sales process, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Assemble submittal and O&M documentation for customers.
  • Confirm approved drawings are received after ordering equipment.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to provide cost-effective solutions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Stay current on HVAC products, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Maintain records and manage bids using CRM and internal software.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in the HVAC industry, with at least 2 years in plan/spec or estimating.
  • Skills: Ability to read mechanical plans and specifications, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office 365, CRM, Eclipse software).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
