Sr. Procurement Engineer
Job Description
Provide technical support to the Procurement Manager throughout the procurement cycle for civil and structural works packages. Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work to ensure technical clarity in tender documents.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work
- Prepare and issue technical sections of RFQs, ITTs, and tender clarifications
- Conduct technical evaluation of bids
- Prepare technical comparison sheets
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, and Construction teams
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and post-tender negotiations
- Support value engineering and alternative proposals
- Ensure compliance with local UAE standards and Dubai Municipality requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 5–10 years of UAE experience in procurement, engineering, or technical tendering roles
