Project Engineer (Construction)
Job Description
La Mida Contracting LLC is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities on residential and commercial projects within the UAE. The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors
- Monitor and control site progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays
- Conduct regular site inspections for quality control and safety compliance
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, including daily reports
- Manage materials and equipment on-site
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and safety standards
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the UAE construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- G+12 Certificate (Mandatory)
- DM Certificate (Mandatory)
- Proven experience in both residential and commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
