Job Description
A Steward / Kitchen Helper supports the kitchen and culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment are clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with simple food prep tasks
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment
- Empty trash and maintain a tidy work environment
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing food supplies
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices
