Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at The Flex, you will design, build, and scale critical parts of the platform from core services and APIs to automation workflows. You will operate with high autonomy, owning problems end-to-end and contributing to architectural decisions while remaining hands-on with production code. The role focuses on building reliable, elegant, and scalable systems on AWS cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable services for bookings, payments, and pricing
- Create clean, well-structured APIs connecting Base360.ai with internal and external tools
- Build event-driven workflows to eliminate manual processes
- Deploy and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS
- Solve problems related to real-time booking sync, pricing intelligence, and operational dashboards
- Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams
Qualifications
- Strong experience building production systems with Node.js, React, and AWS
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and API-first design
- Track record of shipping clean, maintainable, scalable code
