Job Description
Operations Manager – Imported Food Distribution Company. Responsible for overseeing end-to-end daily operations, including supply chain management, warehousing, and distribution, while ensuring full compliance with food safety standards. Experienced in optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, leading teams, and coordinating with international suppliers and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, supply chain, and customs clearance
- Plan logistics and manage transport and distribution
- Oversee warehouse management and storage systems (FIFO/FEFO)
- Control inventory and reduce waste
- Negotiate with vendors and freight companies
- Track operational KPIs and prepare reports
- Lead and build high-performance teams
Qualifications
- Strong daily operations management background
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English
- Knowledge of local food import regulations
