Job Description

Function as a Pastry Commis 1 for Calo Qatar Central Production Unit. Support the pastry team by executing daily preparation tasks to meet nutritional standards and product quality. Ensure precise portioning, weighing, and measurement to align with Calo's calories and macronutrient guidelines while adhering to HACCP and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing pastry products according to standardized recipes
  • Execute pastry preparation with consistency and accuracy
  • Ensure precise portioning and weighing to align with nutritional guidelines
  • Support production of doughs, batters, fillings, and creams
  • Minimize waste through effective storage and rotation
  • Follow daily production plans and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commis 2 or Commis 1 in high-volume hotels or central kitchens (4 to 6 years)
  • Proficient with basic health and safety, HACCP standards
