Arabic Consecutive Interpreter
Job Description
A Reviver Consecutive interpreter plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between those who speak different languages. Consecutive interpreters work by listening to a speaker in one language and rendering their speech into another after a brief pause. You will bridge language gaps and ensure clarity in various over-the-phone situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, and interviews
- Listen carefully to the speaker and convey messages accurately
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity
- Comply with HIPAA and Reviver protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation
- Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target)
- Proof of English language proficiency (national ILR rating or equivalent)
- Criminal background check in English
