Ground Operations Team Member
Job Description
Passionate about fieldwork and ensuring smooth daily operations? We're looking for a Ground Operations Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be out in the field, visiting branches, checking in on captains, and making sure all operational standards are being met.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct daily visits to monitor performance of stores and collection points
- Ensure newly onboarded captains are effectively trained in accordance with operational standards
- Regularly inspect captain waiting areas/workspaces for compliance with safety standards
- Monitor and improve captain performance regarding on-time delivery and uniform compliance
- Record captain performance based on trip completion and track daily delivery goals
- Report captain issues and areas of improvement in the delivery journey
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or related field (preferred)
- Basic understanding of logistics and ground handling operations
- Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office or logistics software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in coordinating with drivers/captains and ensuring compliance with SOPs
