Job Description
Responsible for providing professional service to guests, ensuring their restaurant visit is a memorable dining experience. Duties include food and beverage service, greeting guests, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to standards
- Greet and seat customers and serve them in a professional way
- Acquire in depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu
- Consistently monitor quality of food & beverage being served
- Practice good customer relations and attend to complaints
- Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Responsible for all service preparations before, during and after service
- Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage
- Actively use up selling techniques
Qualifications
- Diploma / degree in hospitality or a vocational training in food & beverage
- Previous experiences as a Waiter / Waitress in a high volume restaurant
