HYCO Training Specialist
Job Description
The HYCO Training Specialist is accountable for managing the technical training program and executing training for Operations & Maintenance staff at the Jubail HYCO Facility. This includes training for steam methane reformers, CO2 removal, MBU, PSA, STG units, and pipeline operations. The specialist develops training curricula, manages documentation, and supports commissioning and startup activities to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction & guidance based on technical feedback from Engineering and Maintenance on training required
- Provide training support & guidance for the Operations & Maintenance teams during commissioning & startup
- Develop training curriculum with periodic testing for the Operations & Maintenance staff
- Develop advanced training material for the senior operators
- Establish & deliver a training program for the HYCO Operations & Maintenance teams
- Ensure Air Products and BHIG standards and global best practices are delivered
- Onboard new Operators and Maintenance personnel and lead them through the training program
- Act as a Liaison with local technical schools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical Process Operations, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a 2-year technical school certificate
- Certified Training Certificate Required
