Job Description
Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking experienced and reliable Senior Truck Drivers for long-haul transportation of goods. This is a non-remote, field-based position requiring a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely
- Transport goods to various destinations per schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight restrictions
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and routes
- Manage fuel consumption and economical driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) – Class C or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable professional driving experience with heavy trucks
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 5 years
- Proficiency in operating various types of HGVs
- Physical ability to lift and handle prolonged sitting
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and ELDs
