Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy of financial records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations
- Handle AP, AR, bank reconciliations and VAT reporting
- Coordinate with auditors
- Monitor budgets and project-related financial transactions
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience in Kuwait (construction/contracting preferred)
- Bachelor’s of commerce or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CMA advanced-level certification preferred
- Good command of English language
- Strong IFRS knowledge
