Customs Clearance Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a Customs Clearance Representative to join our Logistics department at GAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely clearance of goods through customs processes. Your main duties will include coordinating with customs officials, preparing and submitting documentation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customs officials to ensure timely clearance of goods
- Prepare and submit all necessary documentation
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations
- Assist in delivery/collection of documents and smart cards
- Conduct daily reconciliation of petty cash
- Respond to documentary queries
- Assist in customs inspections
Qualifications
- Omani National
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs clearance procedures preferred
- University graduate in any stream
- Valid Oman driving license/customs license
- Proficient in English and Arabic
