Job Description
Manage the assigned warehouse in accordance with Sadafco SOP’s and ensure best practice is implemented where appropriate and drive necessary changes when identified. Identify and implement constant improvements, staff coaching and development.
Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned warehouse operation to deliver optimum quality, performance and cost effectiveness
- Plan and organize stock against operational requirements
- Manage all warehouse activities including the daily deployment of all staff
- Monitor and report the performance via agreed KPI’s
- Coordinate with the Transport department on distribution of stock
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health and Safety regulations
- Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor on the maintenance of all equipment & machinery
- Manage the performance of the warehouse team including rosters and performance reviews
