Job Description
Describes selection of food & beverage menu items to guests. Communicates guest orders to the kitchen, transports items to tables, and handles breakdown and setup of event spaces.
Responsibilities
- Describe food & beverage menu items to guests with vivid descriptions
- Communicate guest orders and special requests to the kitchen
- Transport items to guest tables in a timely manner
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to concerns
- Breakdown, clean and set-up tables, buffets, and stations
- Retrieve and stock linen, china, silver, and glassware
- Complete opening and closing side work
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a five-star luxury hotel
