OHL Engineer
Job Description
The Overhead Line (OHL) Engineer will be responsible for the design review, supervision, and execution of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects ranging from 132 kV to 400 kV. This role ensures technical compliance, quality assurance, and safe implementation of tower erection, stringing, and commissioning activities.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate engineering designs for OHL systems (132–400 kV)
- Supervise site execution activities such as tower erection and conductor stringing
- Witness and support line testing and commissioning procedures
- Coordinate with substation, cable, and civil teams
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Review technical documentation and construction drawings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-voltage OHL projects
