STEAM and Mathematics Teacher
Job Description
ISG Jubail seeks a dynamic Middle/High School STEAM and Mathematics teacher with a passion for guiding students to construct their own understanding of STEAM and Mathematics concepts, with a strong foundation in inquiry-based learning. This educator will align instruction with Common Core and NGSS, fostering interdisciplinary connections, literacy integration, and authentic, real-world applications. The ideal candidate will be committed to cultivating a flexible and engaging STEAM program that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Scaffold student learning to construct understanding of STEAM and Mathematics concepts
- Guide students in using multiple representations to explore and apply principles
- Foster an environment where students exercise agency in their learning
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum
- Plan meaningful assessment opportunities and drive learning through feedback
- Contribute to the after-school activities program
Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Current certification/licensure to teach STEAM and Mathematics subjects preferred
- Knowledge and experience in teaching the Common Core mathematics standards
- Knowledge and experience in teaching the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
