Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery Department – Local (Female with MOH Licence)
Job Description
Make accurate documentation of the patient’s health and the procedures involved in the delivery and post-delivery care. Report the status of the mother and the infant to the interdisciplinary team. Coordinate patient using a holistic approach or in another word, look after the medical needs of the patients while also tending to their psychosocial and emotional needs.
Responsibilities
- Make accurate documentation of the patient’s health and the procedures involved in the delivery and post-delivery care
- Report the status of the mother and the infant to the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate patient using a holistic approach
- Analyze the heartbeat patterns and CTG readings
- Assists Neonatologists in Birthing Unit and OR with assessment and care of newborn
- Prepares patients for emergency and elective Cesarean sections
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing
Qualifications
- Diploma/ bachelor’s in nursing graduate
- License to practice nursing in Kuwait
- Five years’ experience in nursing required
