Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Lead, Tesla is seeking a Saudi-based Business Development Associate to support our commercial energy business expansion and ongoing initiatives in Saudi Arabia. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive Tesla's market strategy by securing and signing new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support Tesla’s energy storage expansion in the Kingdom
  • Identify opportunities focusing on Megapack deployments
  • Build and maintain connections with private and governmental stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth market entry coordination
  • Advocate for Tesla’s approach to energy storage deployment
  • Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a Business Development role within conventional energy, renewables, or related fields
  • Established network of contacts within government organizations, ministries, and utilities in KSA
  • In-depth knowledge of the Saudi energy sector
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Currently located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
