Logistics Coordinator - Offshore Jackup Rig
Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the offshore supply chain and ensuring smooth operations for rigs. This includes coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, handling offshore logistics, and ensuring compliance with Qatar's regulatory and HSE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cargo shipments including drilling equipment and chemicals to offshore rigs
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Liaise with procurement teams and customs authorities
- Plan and schedule supply vessel movements
- Manage helicopter logistics for crew changes
- Prepare shipping manifests and HSE paperwork
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in offshore or oilfield logistics; Jackup rig experience preferred
- BOSIET/FOET (required if offshore site visits are necessary)
- Dangerous Goods (DG) Handling Certification
