Job Description
As a Procurement Associate at ICON, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the procurement process for goods and services essential to clinical trials and operational activities. You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the procurement process by managing purchase orders and supplier negotiations
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand procurement needs
- Conducting market research and supplier evaluations
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and tracking order status
- Supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Some experience or internship in procurement or supply chain management preferred
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
