Director for Alumni Relations
Job Description
The Director for Alumni Relations is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive engagement program designed to increase and cultivate the connections of alumni with their alma mater, support employability, and enhance visibility of alumni success.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and reports on the Alumni Relations Engagement strategic plan
- Conducts surveys to assess engagement levels
- Supervises the University’s Connections program
- Designs and supervises the Volunteering program for alumni
- Supports alumni employability and showcases career services
- Collaborates with Schools to foster alumni recognition
- Oversees major events such as Homecoming
- Organizes volunteer leadership in Chapter cities
- Manages budget for Alumni Relations
- Identifies prominent prospect donors
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- At least 4 years in alumni relations or stakeholder engagement and 4 years in a supervisory role
- Proven ability to design and implement alumni engagement strategies
- Communication, marketing, management, and planning skills
- Leadership, public speaking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
