Team Lead, Mortgage Production Assistant
Job Description
As a part of the Zillow Home Loans team, you will assist in leading a team of coordinators responsible for pre-screening incoming files to ensure their qualities meet minimum submission requirements before underwriting. This role is responsible for reviewing income, AUS, and other credit documentation while communicating closely with Loan Officers. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Base pay range is $26.20 - $44.00 hourly.
Responsibilities
- Help onboard and train new hires to the MPA team
- Provide daily support to the MPA team
- Identify training opportunities for the team
- Review, prepare and submit complete loan files for underwriting review
- Evaluate and determine if any documents are missing
- Review necessary income, AUS, and other required credit and underwriting documentation
- Communicate closely with Loan Officers to ensure loan submissions are accurate
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer information
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ prior Mortgage experience for all loan types (Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA) preferred
- Must have knowledge of Mortgage Terms
- Shown success multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with Encompass (LOS) and Microsoft Office is a plus
