Operations Manager (Remote from Sweden)
Job Description
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and optimize operational processes across the business, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. This role is responsible for managing inventory, streamlining workflows, and coordinating logistics to support business growth and customer satisfaction. You will lead and mentor a team, implement process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive measurable operational results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to meet demand while reducing holding costs
- Streamline workflows across departments to improve operational efficiency and productivity
- Manage relationships with logistics partners, negotiate carrier rates, and ensure timely shipping
- Implement new operational systems, processes, and tools to enhance scalability and performance
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or inventory-driven industries
- Proven track record in inventory management, optimization, and workflow improvement
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
