Job Description

We’re seeking a creative and strategic leader to drive customer advocacy and storytelling at Toast. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to elevate customer voices, support revenue-driving initiatives, and strengthen brand credibility through compelling customer stories.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and ongoing evolution of Toast’s customer advocacy efforts.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with customer advocates across the business
  • Own and execute a cohesive customer proof strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer proof is easily accessible and effectively leveraged across go-to-market teams.
  • Own the customer storytelling approach for internal and external events
  • Partner with Sales to support customer storytelling and proof needs for priority opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in customer marketing, brand comms, or content-focused roles within B2B or tech
  • A strong storyteller with excellent written and content development skills
  • Comfortable partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams to support go-to-market priorities
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives and navigate cross-functional work in a fast pace environment
  • Passionate about elevating customer voices and driving impact through storytelling
  • Well-organized, with a thoughtful, structured approach to customer advocacy and storytelling
