Job Description
Supervise and coordinate offshore steel welding activities for structural and fabrication works. Ensure all welding is performed in accordance with approved WPS, drawings, and offshore project specifications. Assign welders, monitor productivity, and ensure quality and safety compliance in offshore environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate offshore steel welding activities
- Ensure all welding is performed in accordance with approved WPS, drawings, and offshore project specifications
- Assign welders, monitor productivity, and ensure quality and safety compliance in offshore environments
- Coordinate with QA/QC, fabrication, and HSE teams for inspections and smooth offshore execution
- Enforce offshore PTW systems, HSE requirements, and safe welding practices
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Welding / Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade
- Minimum 5–8 years of offshore steel welding experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of offshore welding processes (SMAW / GTAW / FCAW) and welding standards
- Proven ability to manage offshore manpower, ensure quality workmanship, and meet project deadlines
