Job Description
Discover Qatar is recruiting a Tour Guide I to conduct rapid and light tours of short duration for small groups and families. The guide acts as a brand ambassador, providing memorable guest experiences by sharing information about historical, cultural, and educational attractions in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming customers and informing them about the itinerary
- Accompany visitors to tour site locations
- Explain emergency procedures to ensure safety
- Plan alternative activities in case of cancellations or weather conditions
- Monitor the behavior of the group for compliance with rules
- Assemble and check required supplies and equipment prior to departure
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent with minimum 2 years of job-related experience
- Possess factual knowledge of Qatar history, geography, growth and development
