Control Room Operator
Job Description
The Control Room Operator is responsible for real-time monitoring of the company’s trucks fleet through GPS and MDVR camera systems. The role ensures safe driving behavior, compliance with company procedures and accurate reporting of loading/unloading operations. The operator also assists with office IT tasks and supports system users when needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor trucks 24/7 through GPS tracking and MDVR platforms
- Detect reckless driving (harsh braking, speeding, etc.)
- Identify unauthorized stoppages and route deviations
- Monitor driver behavior (smoking, phone use, etc.)
- Ensure hardware functionality
- Monitor loading and discharging processes
- Verify delivery locations
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Excel reports
- Provide basic IT assistance within the office
- Troubleshoot camera and GPS system issues
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Logistics, or related field
- Strong computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel advanced level)
- Experience with GPS tracking systems and MDVR camera platforms
- Ability to analyze data and prepare accurate reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in fleet control rooms is highly preferred
