Job Description
The CFO is responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, ensuring stability, supporting growth, and enabling governance. The role oversees financial planning, treasury, banking relationships, budgeting, and ERP implementation for a leading company in operation, maintenance, and facilities management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute overall financial strategy.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, audits, and IFRS compliance.
- Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance (Zakat, VAT, WHT).
- Manage financial aspects of government contracts.
- Evaluate profitability of O&M and contracting projects.
- Lead banking relationships and optimize cash flow.
- Oversee ERP implementation and system integration.
- Prepare reports for the Board and senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Professional certifications: CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA highly preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in finance, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in Operations & Maintenance, Contracting, Construction, or Facilities Management is mandatory.
- Strong experience with banking facilities and treasury management.
- Background in managing ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred).
