Job Description
As a Senior Substation Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing advanced automation systems that will power our future. Drive the full lifecycle of electrical Substation Automation Systems (SAS), from initial conceptual design to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full lifecycle of electrical Substation Automation Systems (SAS)
- Implement RTU devices and advanced automation strategies
- Configure and integrate Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), RTUs, and Gateways
- Design and configure advanced communication networks
- Prepare engineering documents including FDS, System Architecture, and Signal Lists
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in design, engineering, and implementation of electrical SAS
- Experience with RTU devices
- Knowledge of communication protocols like IEC 61850, IEC60870-5-101/103/104, DNP3, OPC, and Modbus TCP/IP
