Job Description

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Vice President, North American Operations to lead operational performance across multiple facilities in the US and Mexico. Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement Lean manufacturing principles. Refresh and deploy a standardized manufacturing system and playbook. Partner with Plant Managers on automation strategies. Identify initiatives to improve asset performance and efficiency. Build a high-performance, continuous improvement culture. Work cross-functionally and lead change management efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred. 10–15 years of manufacturing experience. 3–5 years as a Plant Manager or Operations Manager. 5+ years leading multiple manufacturing sites. Proven financial acumen with P&L responsibility. Background in polymer processing. Strong leadership capabilities. Salary: $245,000 - $280,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement Lean manufacturing principles across the North American plant network
  • Refresh and deploy a standardized manufacturing system and playbook
  • Partner with Plant Managers to define and execute plant-level automation strategies
  • Identify and implement initiatives that improve asset performance and operational efficiency
  • Build, motivate, and sustain a high-performance, continuous improvement culture
  • Lead change management efforts
  • Participate in global benchmarking to define best practices
  • Develop skills, capabilities, and leadership depth at all organizational levels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred
  • 10–15 years of manufacturing experience
  • 3–5 years as a Plant Manager or Operations Manager
  • 5+ years leading multiple manufacturing sites
  • Proven financial acumen with P&L responsibility
  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing
  • Background in polymer processing (extrusion, blow molding, injection molding)
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities
