Job Description
The Director of Finance is responsible for the determination of optimum control objectives and for the installation and maintenance of appropriate internal control systems over income, expenditure, assets and liabilities within the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Oversees development and implementation of all financial controls and accounting procedures
- Acts as a key member of the hotel’s leadership team
- Drives profitability by identifying improvement opportunities
- Leads employee development through structured training and succession planning
- Manages treasury functions, working capital, and cash flow
- Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting and robust asset protection
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance
- Extensive accounting background with at least 8 years of experience
- Proficiency with hotel POS and PMS platforms (HMS, Opera, etc.)
- Excellent working knowledge of SUN System
