Payroll and HR Operations Officer - Compliance & Documentation (Lebanon)
Job Description
Progressive Technology is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Payroll and HR Operations Officer. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring payroll accuracy, legal compliance, and efficient documentation management. You will be the go-to person for all things related to payroll execution, statutory reporting, and employee records.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing
- Maintain up-to-date employee records including contracts and attendance
- Ensure accurate filing of statutory deductions (NSSF, income tax)
- Coordinate with finance for payroll-related payments
- Support internal and external audits
- Collaborate with HRBPs for data consistency
- Implement improvements to HR operational procedures
- Liaise with governmental authorities for compliance
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing or HR operations
- In-depth knowledge of Lebanese labor law, tax legislation, and NSSF regulations
